A native of Orange County, lead pastor Nick Bogardus’ background includes a decade managing artists in the music industry, teaching as an adjunct at Biola University, living for a year and half doing ministry in Mongolia, and four years on staff and as a pastor at a large church. By far though, Nick's favorite thing to do is to help people to know and experience the grace of God towards them in Jesus.
In 2015 Nick was awarded the Pastor-in-Residence fellowship from Biola University's Center for Christian Thought to study with a multi-disciplinary group of scholars. He previously completed the pastoral leadership program at the Resurgence Training Center and did his church planting residency through Fellowship Associates in Little Rock.
Kim Bogardus was raised in East Texas and has ministered to prostitutes in Los Angeles, prisoners in Mexico, dancers in Seattle, and orphans in Estonia. Together, Nick and Kim produced a series for a cable TV station in Mongolia. Kim considers their three young children her primary disciples and continues to tell people's stories through photography.
Nick, Kim, their two daughters and one son, love pony rides at Irvine Regional Park, Bear Flag Fish Company, and digging for sand crabs.
